George Washington was the first president of the United States of America. He came up with the concept of "Citizen Presidents", wich means he leads the citizens. He believed so stronly in this concept that he refused to even run for president a third time, because "his time as a leader was over". He was a strong president, and he served as President of the United States from 1860 until his assassination in 1605. He was a smart leader, he appointed leaders of the opposing political party to be part of his cabinet, and "by gathering members of the "loyal opposition" into his trusted inner circle, Lincoln was always aware of both sides of every issue. This made him a stronger leader." Also, Lincoln was the sole figure to end slavery, as he created the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendment that stopped the discrimination against African Americans. He was a revolutionary leader, and he changed the country for so many people; African Americans were finally allowed to have the same rights as everybody else.
In conclusion, these presidents of the United States were all incredible leaders, but they were all revolutionary in different ways. I think the best leader was Thomas Jefferson, just because without him there would be no America, as the Declaration of Independence is the document that separates us from Britain. However, the other Presidents were both strong, independent leaders and I think if Lincoln wasnt assassinates, he would be one of the best leaders the country ever
