The triangular slave trade was the biggest deportation in history and a determining factor in the world economy of the eighteenth century. Millions of African people were torn from their homes, deported to the American continent and sold as slaves. This issue began when European interests in Africa moved away from hard affordable good – gold, too much more profitable commodity-slaves. This trade took two centuries, from 16th century, when this trade was in full swing, till 18th century. Every stages of the infamous transatlantic slave trade, that connected the economies of the three various continents, could be profitable for merchants. So what are the main causes of this issue and what impact does triangular slave trade make on current situation?

So the first stage involved taking manufactured goods from the Western Europe to the whole Africa; the ships that loaded with products such as tobacco, metal goods, clothes and guns were deported to Africa in order to exchange them for slaves. Likewise, all guns were used to enslave more and more people from Africa. The second step of the transatlantic slave trade was about transporting all slaves to America; approximately seventeen million were deported to another continent. Furthermore, those suffered people worked in various plantations just to produce sugar and tobacco for their enslavers. The last stage connected two big continents, Europe and America. Over than two third of the goods that slaves produced was sold as a merchandise to the Europe
