Many people see that their governments are using violence to solve conflicts and believe that their conflicts could be solved in a similar way. Children especially can be affected by wars and they can get the idea that violence solves any problem they may encounter in their life. Many people have agreed with this and provided evidence. In a specific article this excerpt was written, “A jihadi thousands of miles away can now recruit American teens to the Islamic State. Hackers can hijack Sony’s internal servers and cause an international crisis. Do advances in technology make knowledge gleaned during World War II obsolete, or are the lessons timeless?” (www.dailynews.com). This shows the big impact that war has on us and the lessons that people have learned from war and what they believe that they can do more than is anticipated.
