The War in Vietnam is on event had many events which has impacted our history ever since the Vietnamese got independence from the French. The purpose of this essay is to explain how the Vietnam War led to many effects.

The main reason why the Vietnam War occurred is because the Vietnamese wanted independence from the French. At first Vietnam was controlled by the afranch. Then, Ho Chi Minh fought the French and won. Then the Vietnam split into two countries: North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The North was communist and the South was not.
