The View Delft By Johannes Vermeer
The piece I choose was The View Delft by Johannes (Jan) Vermeer. This piece was created between the years of 1660 to1661 and was a painting of Jan Vermeer’s hometown Delft, Netherlands. This piece is considered one of his best piece. This was a unique piece because cityscapes were a not a common thing during this time, so to be able to paint this was excellent. In this painting he shows different lighting throughout the picture. In the top of the picture you can see the clouds having a dark shadow, while the rest of the sky is bright and sunny giving the picture different lighting throughout the painting. This gives the viewers a feeling that the sun is passing by in the sky. You can also look at the water and see the shadows of the building

When you first look at the painting your eye is drawn to a distinct horizontal line that depicts the horizon over the water. There are also curved lines throughout the piece where the waves are located, many of which make up either the ripples over the sand or waves breaking on the shore. These curved lines are what move your eye from the horizon towards the water moving forward as the wave breaks and moves along the sand.…

Shadows that fell on her pupils face indicate the light source comes from the direction of the pupils' left (the right side of the painting) where there could be a window. The vanishing line is at where the elaborate hat lies to enhance the emphasis on the beauty. In the background lie several statues, including the bust of the father. The bust of the artist father is a darker tone due to being in the background, hidden from the light source. That should also be the deepest point of the painting.…

In the painting we see a very clear argument Cole the artist is trying to convey. A very distinct line down the middle of the scene creates a clear border between the untouched wilderness that Cole and his Hudson River School are known for. On the other side of the border lays clear skies with farmland and developed land, which gives the notion that a storm is either coming or subsiding as the wilderness part of the piece is drenched by storm. The actual light of the piece appears to have minimal effect. Implied…

This piece of art was created by Claude Monet. He is known as the classic impressionist. In this painting, he captures the ever-changing nature of light and color. Unlike a lot of paintings, you can see the brush strokes in this painting. But I believe that the brush strokes used help create the piece of art and they help show the leaves and flowers on the trees. Also, it helps make the clouds in the sky look more hazy and beautiful.…

Some of these archetypes that the painting includes are a powerful vibrant sky, big mountains in the background, large unique trees in foreground, and water with a welcoming feel. I created a darker feel for this painting by leaving the trees without leaves, saturating the sky with dark blues, and making a darker foreground grass with some highlights. Along with the…

The colors surrounding them in the background seem lacking and without life. The grass seems to be in the process of losing life from the brownish green color in all the visible lawns. The sun is the brightest part of the picture. The sunset is also creating a focal point on the wall and the boys. A sun setting tends to signify the end of something.…

    The Scream Analysis

The bold curved lines of the sky flow directly into the figure and endure to form the body of the individual. Van Gogh uses long, heavy yet equal brushstrokes to express feelings and motion. Motion is the main element in this painting Vertical lines such as the tree and church tower delicately breaks up the composition without withdrawing from the powerful night sky. Van Gogh's use of white and yellow creates a twisting result and draws attention to the sky. And the usage of color to send emotion. Munch also used colors that were contrast between hot and cold colors, contrast of complimentary. By using artless forms, Munch is able to force his viewers to focus on the emotions that the sight and subject secrete rather than simply viewing an exact picture of one particular scene. The cautious use of balance also helps the viewers understand the indirect consequence of The Scream. Munch placed the unpleasant figure in the focal point and attains a sense of balance by inserting two smaller figures who are walking into the scorching sunset in the distance on the left side and by creating a dominant arch in the upper right hand corner. But the focal point created by Van Gogh is the tree-like structure projecting out on the bottom…

The sun reflects off the water down the center of composition. In the background, a large castle sits atop a cliff, positioned just to the left of the center of the painting. The nude figure is staring up at this castle, his posture reflecting his pleasant, dreamlike thoughts while admiring the castle. The distribution of color, such as more yellows in one area and more blues in another, allows the painting to feel balanced and the color scheme not to be too harsh on the viewer's’…

    Credibility Of Lying

In every living being we are given the ability to lie when something happens to us or other actions that fall upon us. This ability can be useful when something unexpected happens and theres is no choice but to lie. However, lying to cover up something that is harmful or important can have it's own consequences for that action alone. There have been many debates over whether or not lying is a justifiable action to take when something comes up. Some argue that lying is wrong action to take because it's just prolonging the mistake that was made. While others believe that it is acceptable if it’s in the right circumstance to use. I believe that lying is acceptable because the things we do are own consequences and we have to keep it as are own…
