Although I have already referenced several ways to purpose the internet for record collecting throughout this entire book, it is an influential and powerful tool for vinyl collectors deserving its own chapter. The internet allows us to learn about and locate the releases that are hard to find. We can use it to find record shops, used record sellers or even shop directly online in the comfort of our own home. The internet has also allowed us to connect with similar collectors, whether they are local to us or on the other side of the planet, making collecting a rewardingly social experience.
