The first most likely conflict is: person vs person, when you're reading the novel you will notice that Ralph and Jack are always fighting (physically and mentally) with each other. Ralph blew on the ‘conch’ like a trumpet, he did this to call everyone up so the group could have a meeting. The group wanted a leader who could organise things on the island, Ralph was the favourite person to become the leader. There as a voting and Ralph became the chief of the group, Jack didn’t agree and he was humiliated.
Ralph liked Jack and wanted to be friends, he decided that Jack would be in charge of the hunting group. Ralph made some plans up which are: building shelters, searching for food and creating a big fire. Jack returned from his first hunting attempt but failed to catch a pig. Jack didn't give up and tried to catch a pig again. Jack succeeded this time, but Ralph was angry that Jack didn’t pay attention to the fire in the mean time.

vs supernatural is also a conflict that you will come across in LOTF. The supernatural thing is the beastie where the littluns had talked about. After a meeting which Ralph organised it became clear that the littluns have trouble with the beastie, they where afraid and got nightmares about it.
There was an air battle going on during midnight, a dead parachutist fell down on the island and got stuck in a tree.
Sam and Eric woke up next to the fire, they saw a silhouette of the dead parachutist and it was making strange noise. They thought that it was the beastie so they ran to the other guys to tell them about the beastie. The children weren’t afraid anymore after Ralph, Jack and Simon confirmed that it wasn’t a beast. Jack and his group went hunting again, he killed a pig and put his head on a stick in the middle of the forest. Simon went to the pig’s head, he got a vision while he was looking at it. The head was talking to him and told him that the beastie was inside the boys. Simon wanted to tell this to Ralph and Jack but on his way he got killed because they didn’t knew who came thru the
trees.
