Romeo and Juliets love was doomed from the beginning, they were both fast to move and slow to think kind of people. Through all of the similies and metaphors said by the two lovers and the Friar, one can see that Shakespeare knew their horrible fate was inevitable.
One would think that Juliet knew her fate from the start. The first instance of predicting her own fated was in Act 1, Scene 5 when Juliet said, “ My grave is like to be my wedding bed”. This similie compares her wedding bed andher grave .They were words said out of rage but what we know that she doesn’t is that she is practically right and will die very soon after her wedding. An irratioanl desicion that is a result of her husbands irrational desicions. She tells herself that she will die without him and yet she kills herself as a result of being with him. …show more content…
He acted out of strong emotions such as anger or love. He carried out plans before he even made them. In Act 3, Scene1 Romeo exclaimed, “Now, Tybalt, take the villain back again,That late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul Is but a little way above our heads, Staying for thine to keep him company: Either thou, or I, or both, must go with him.”. Romeo tells a metaphor because he is speaking out of gulit and anger for his best friend who has just been slayed. But the fact that he says one or both of them will have to join marcutio implies that even though he wants to kill Tybalt he brings up his own death. Much like Juliet he predicts his own future and further announces his imminent
