1­2 litany(noun)­ a ceremonial or liturgical form of prayer consisting of a series of invocations or supplications with responses that are the same for a number in succession. syn­ list, catalog, enumeration

ant­ sent­The mother of the child gave a litany at the funeral.
Truncate­
to shorten by cutting off a part; cut short syn­ abridge, trim, curtail, abbreviate ant­lengthen sent­The man truncated the board to fit the frame.

Axiom­
