This study aimed to determine the factors that affect absenteeism of working and non- working students of University of Caloocan City perceived by the selected Business administration students. Specifically, this study sought answers to the following questions: 1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of: 1. Age, 2. Course, 3. Year Level?
2. To what extent do the following factors cause absenteeism among working and non working students? In terms of the following profile variables: 1. Behavioral Factors, 2. Financial Factors, 3. Social Environment, 4. School Management and Policies?
3. What solutions may be proposed to minimize the seriousness of factors that affects absenteeism?
The researchers use a descriptive method in gathering data. Questionnaire was used in gathering information and was conducted during the month of January. The sample sizes for the respondents are one hundred (100) students of College of Business and Accountancy.
The data gathered from the survey had been tabulated using ranking, percentage and weighted mean statistical methods. It was checked time to time by our Thesis Adviser.
The researcher concluded the following based on the findings of the study.
