The Holocaust was the most gruesome and memorable event that has happened in history. More than eleven-million deaths occurred and among that number six-million were Jewish. The prime target, considered not “pure” in Hitler’s eyes. The “master race” or Aryans were considered the “pure” race. That race consists of blonde hair, blue eyed Scandinavian peoples, Danes, Norwegians, Swedish, Dutch, British, and Germanically-related peoples in its hypothetical ranks.Hitler wanted to exterminate everyone who was not of this master race because he thought that Aryans were destined to rule the world and nobody can stand in their way. Any race of group that it was believed would make Germany weak if they continued to live side by side with the perceived perfection of the "The Aryan". Hitler would send the “low ranking” races to concentration camps. Such as Auschwitz Birkenau, the largest camp of them all.The Holocaust was the most gruesome and memorable event that has happened in history. The Holocaust is often defined as the brutal killing of about eleven million innocent people because of a racial prejudice against the Jewish race. This tragic occurrence was conducted by the awful and merciless dictator known as Adolf Hitler. The Jewish people were not the “perfect” race that Adolf Hitler wanted to create. He contradicted himself because not even he fell under the requirements that it took to become this perfect race. The Jewish people, such as ones that were only small babies and the elderly, were inhumanly killed in multiple ways. One example of this brutal killing of the innocent was when small children could be ripped away from their parents to be sent to the work camps that were scattered throughout the country of Germany. These work camps often worked the children so hard that a because of their lack of food and water killed them. This thing that these innocent people endured inside of these ruthless work camps is sometimes unimaginable to the human mind.…

I have selected the persuasive writing genre to investigate the question "Should regulations regarding payment to college athletes be changed?" for two reasons. The first reason is that this issue is very complex, and this paper is geared to focus in on answering a set narrow, objective questions to get to heart of the issue so the average person can have a factual view of this issue. The persuasive writing genre helps me address the following questions when engaged in the research of this subject: What do I plan to accomplish, why you want to research this particular topic, and how I'm going to do it. The second reason is that this genre is intended to convince my instructor, audience, and others that this is worthwhile research topic and that I have the competence and the work-plan to complete it.…

The Holocaust is one of the most known mass murders of the human race. Before the Holocaust, mass murder had never been given a name. Hitler and his Nazi army led to the destruction of the many races in most areas of Europe. Hitler believed that if were not born German and if were born as a German but look like another race, were a disgrace to the race. If a person was born a German, a person also had to prove he was completely German by showing records of family members and their marriages. Some of the many groups included gypsies, blacks, homosexuals, and the most hated of all: Jews. Along with these groups, the sick Germans were removed from the German society as well, because they hurt Hitler’s vision of an invincible race. Hitler did not care about unless you were part of his perfect society. He ended up starving and killing most of those whom he did not like. Due to Hitler’s actions causing the Holocaust, a new concept arose throughout the world that had never been thought upon before: Genocide.…

During the late seventeenth century Ireland was a colony ruled under the British empire. Similar to most colonization, this had many negative impacts on the natives of Ireland such as poverty, overpopulation, and unemployment. In the essay “ A Modest Proposal for preventing the children of the poor people from being a burthen to their parents, or the country, and for making them beneficial to the Publick” written by Jonathan Swift, he convinces the readers that newborns at the age of one should be sold into the meat market for consumption of the wealthy. He recognizes the poor treatment received by the English and believes they are the root of Irelands problems; not the lower classes. Rather than delivering his true point of view directly,…

Some people wondered to themselves why the holocaust happened. It happened because the nazis were racist and thought that the Aryan race should be the superior race. To them, they thought anyone whom was European and was not Jewish, Romany, or Slavic would have been able to not go to the concentration camps. Most of all the Nazis believed that Jews were a problem that HAD to…

The Holocaust had a tremendous role in World War II. It was a mass murder of six million Jews, Gypsies, and homosexuals. However, the main people who were captured, persecuted, or turned into workers were the Jews. Adolf Hitler, the third reich at the time, thought that the Jews were a subordinate race and a threat to Germany’s racial community. Hitler believed that the other races didn’t harmonize with the Germans.…

During World War One, The Jews did not participate in warfare or fight for Germany, instead, they focused on education and cultural development. This inceased Hitler. When Germany lost the war and surrendered to the Allies, Hitler believed that it was because of the Jews that they lost the war because the Jews did not help Germany. He thought that the Jews were a useless race and were not loyal to their country so they should be exterminated as they are only a waste of space, they were no help even in the war when Germany needed them, so Hitler conducted the Holocaust. Not only this, but Hitler believed in the Aryan Race as superior and Jews as a natural enemy of them, adding to the reasons. Hitler also included old and disabled people in the holocaust because he believed that they were too weak to fight for Germany so they were useless and best left to die.…

With the end of World War I, came the down fall of Germany. The signing of the Treaty of Versailles forced Germans to take blame for the war and pay large reparation to the victorious countries. Germany lost everything they owned and spiraled downhill. With the whole country down in the slums, any sight of hope sparked a wild fire; the emergence of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party did just that. Hitler, a German Nationalist, began rising to power due to his promises to fix the corruption and create the rebirth of Germany, which included his idea of a perfect Aryan race. Many groups of people, including the Jewish, Russians, and Slavics, contaminated Hitler’s pure race. With the rise of the “Jewish Question”, what to do with this hated group of people, the only answer was the extermination of the vermin like European Jews. “Getting rid of lice is not a question of ideology. It is a matter of cleanliness” (Nazi Conspiracy and Aggression, Himmler). The mass extermination of the Jews called for thousands of SS officers to run the concentration camps and gas chambers. The Holocaust happened due to the horrific orders that no one dared to break, in order to rebuild the strength of Germany.…

Under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust was a time of extreme hostility towards the Jewish. This was mostly because Hitler was a anti-Semitism and had a hatred of Jews as an ethnic and religious group. The Nazi army would target mostly the Jewish, but also the people they thought were “evil” and a threat to the German racial purity and community. The Nazis would murder its own Jewish population and the Jewish populations of its conquered territories in addition to all of the other people killed. The victims included about one million children and about two-thirds of the nine million Jews who had lived in Europe. The Holocaust was also seen as Hitler’s “final solution” to the Jewish…

The Holocaust was the country that sponsored mass murders for of over six million Jews by the Nazi government during World War II. It was the culmination of close to a decade of official discrimination, racial segregation, and brutal violence against the Jewish residential district in Germany. Under the shield of the war, the Nazis turned to systematic genocide after 1941, setting up industrial-style “extermination camps” planning to execute the detained Jewish population of Germany and Europe. While other groups targeted for extinction by the Nazi state, including gypsies, gays and communists, anti-Semitism was a fundamental tenet of Nazi ideology. In fact, Hitler believed until the end that the “war against the Jews” was a more important goal than victory in the conventional military battles of World War II. The Holocaust is today known as one of the worst mass crimes in human history.…

So of course, they had to blame someone and the Jews were easy to blame. Hitler believed Caucasian, European people to be the founders of culture and specifically blonde hair, blue eyed northern Europeans to be the peak of humankind. Jews did not fit culturally or racially. Jews were seen as non-German and alien to german culture. The Nazis wanted everything that was non-German out of Germany. Not just racially, but in art and science and also education. The Nazis were not Christians and Hitler was not religious either. Jews at this time had no country of their own, but yet were and still are very successful in business and living standards. This made Hitler angry, and he called the jews 'parasites ' for entering european countries and making good lives for themselves and holding good jobs in society. With powerful speeches about how the jews were to blame for all of Germany 's problems, as well as the murder of any political opposition who opposed him, Hitler eventually had complete control of Germany without anyone to stop him or his ideas. Therefore, this was the beginning of the Holocaust. “The term Holocaust comes from the Greek word holokauston which means sacrifice by fire, this refers to the Nazi’s persecution and planned murder by genocide. Eleven million people were killed during the Holocaust, six million were Jews. As a result, two thirds of all the people killed were Jews”…

The Aryan race according to Hitler consisted of blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. The men had to be muscular and in the case of the women, they had to be beautiful. But these were just the basics. The ideal German in Hitler’s eyes had to be free of any disability, no deformity or abnormity, tall, fit, skinny and no mental illness. They had to be straight and the men had to be active and healthy enough to be able to do military service and the women had to have a fertile body. Hitler wanted all of the Germans to be pure racially so that he could start a ‘perfect’ race of his own. To accomplish this, he had to wipe out anyone who did not have those qualifications. Hitler wanted to do this because he envied the people he so thought were perfect, the Aryans. He envied them because he himself did not have those features. If people did not have these qualifications, Hitler checked their bloodline. So if somebody had brown hair and brown eyes they would only be allowed to live if they had at least three or more of their grandparents who obtained blonde and blue eyes. The theory Hitler had was that over time the world would not have weakness and become pure, and in his eyes –…

The Germans also tried to exterminate Europe’s Gypsies, or Roma, and they targeted other groups, as well.…
