Outline and Thesis Statement Guide
Create an outline that includes details that support your thesis. You must have at least three main points identified and at least two supporting details per main point.
Write all supporting details and subdetails in complete sentences.
Include both in-text citations in the outline and a references page following the outline. Many of your supporting details and subdetails will need in-text citations.
Outline only the body of your paper (not your introduction or conclusion).
Avoid bias and present a balanced case for your thesis—this will strengthen your writing.

Cellphones, laptops, tablets and televisions are controlling people lives.
Television is no longer censored the way it once was; killing, stabbings and guns are being displayed on these media devices. Allowing the youth access to these horrible acts. Growing up children are little sponges that absorb everything; they hear and see. Mininking what they have heard and seen when they get older. Cutting back on the amount of hours spent on media devices, will cut youth violence.

An average young person, age 18 or younger have witnessed ab estimated of 200,000 acts of violence on a media device.

Studies a far back as 1995-1997 have broadcast about 10,000 hours of violence.

The reason why I sequence my paper like this is because that how it makes sense to me, if its understandable to me, I believe it would be understanding for the readers as well. I decided to speak about the things, that I know would stand out. When I write a essay I always make my outline simply, with basic information. So I can be able to stay on track when writing my paper. I put enough information in my paragraph so a reader can understand where I'm coming from.
