The similarities between third and second wave feminism are apparent both systems involve race, class, and gender. In earlier periods of feminism the subjects of race, class, and gender did relate to middle class white women looking to rise above patriarchal control and be viewed as humans. Third wave feminism does this as well, the changes in our society to be more accepting, though still full of problems has allowed feminism to transform this is why third wave feminism touches on the sexuality of women, the inclusion of other races, and equality of men and women small steps have been made to make our society more equal, while also allowing us to stay stuck. I do believe that in order for third wave feminism to be effective we need to stop finding ways to distinguish ourselves from other waves of feminism and stop stating how we are aware of our privilege, yet not actually taking the steps to be truly inclusive. Feminism currently, us made up of multiple people living in a bubble of their ideologies with small amounts of action if we add more action to our ideas it will be more effective. I also believe that if our generation stops labeling ourselves as feminist without really knowing our history or simply in order to follow a trend that has been presented in pop culture things may be more
