This Is Why I Chose to Study Business Administration
This is why I chose to study Business Administration concentrating on Management. Because, I believe that I can effect positive change in my country, and in the world through Business, since,
Business principles can serve as the backbone for economic, political and social systems at all levels.
Certainly, a degree in Business Administration is a extremely practical area of study, since the curriculum provides students with so much real-world experience.

Since I was born and am living in Egypt, participated in the YES program, I completely understand how important economic and social development is for my country, I have a profound passion and enthusiasm to use every knowledge, skill and opportunity to contribute to the positive change in my country, and to the rest of the world through pursuing a degree in Business Administration concentrating on Management. )

The initial thought of returning to school to pursue an MBA seemed daunting. As a working mother of two, free time is not exactly abundant. But the more I think about it; not many can say they have free time. I consider life to be a fountain of opportunities, some good and others bad, but without a doubt, there are plenty of opportunities. The result is mainly reflective of the choices made and the effort set forth by each individual. I personally believe that an education is the single thing that no one can take away from you. As a proud first generation graduate in my family, it has always been clear to me that pursuing an education was essential to my success. It is also of utmost importance to me to set a good example for my children, and hope that as they grow they realize the importance of obtaining an education.

I consider myself to be an ambitious individual, who seeks balance and stability for my family. I realize that while I am content with my job, I am ready to grow and move on to my next challenge. Although I feel that I have extensive experience in my field, completing an MBA

There are several non-quantifiable factors affecting Ben’s decision to get an MBA. Ben’s family situation will come into play. I am currently a senior Political Science major, History minor, with a concentration in International Relations. I am also the chairman of the Howard University NAACP Political Action Committee. I am an academic, I am a student leader, but more importantly, I am a servant. It is my firm belief that the reason I was blessed to be given the opportunity to get a college education is so that I can use this privilege and knowledge to help others. Just recently in December I was fortunate enough to go on a service trip to South Africa with the YAALI program. There we did community service and connected with our brothers and sisters on the continent. This was a very impressionable experience for me, especially because it was my first time leaving…

With unemployment rates at an all time high combined with the increasing costs associated with traditional brick and mortar schools, online education is by far one of the fastest growing and thriving industries. As younger students are attempting to pursue traditional higher education, they are realizing that the costs are not only increasing daily, but the programs are longer in duration and often not a better education than the online line programs. Those who have lost their jobs and need an edge over other unemployed candidates are finding that a B.A degree alone is often not enough and that in fact an MBA degree could greatly improve their chances as being more appealing to employers who have few jobs to offer to an overwhelming number of applicants. Those who do have jobs are often concerned about the stability of that job and this group is also is also looking towards those higher degree’s as to remain competitive and viable for their current jobs or for future jobs that may offer them more stability. This group typically has high work demands and as a result, they have to weigh their options when it comes to returning to school to obtain that MBA.…

My main reason for going back to school is for better career choices and the chance for something better. Which is currently very limited in this area. Mainly some companies that don't pay very much. That's why I hope this degree will open on a new career or something much better. Maybe even one day own my own business or some kind independent business agent. I guess the idea being able work by myself is very desirable. Working has showed me how much effort is required just to sustain what most Americans would consider a normal life. Our sense of normalcy in life is warped by our surroundings. While working, my surroundings have included coworkers who worked long hours over multiple jobs, as this was the only way they could provide a decent life for their families. Currently I am working at a dental lab, where I assist in the production and delivery of a variety of different dental products for dentists. As part of my job, I have regularly visited dental offices in rougher parts of Hartford, where poverty is everywhere. Seeing the normal daily life of the people around me has forced me to realize how unbelievably fortunate I have been throughout my life. A greater awareness of how brutal daily life can be in other countries has the same effect on me. I know that all the struggles and tribulations I have experienced in my life are trivial relative to the suffering that too many people in the world have experienced. This knowledge lies at the essence of what personally drives me to improve myself. It is my responsibility to make the most out of all the opportunities I have to better myself in order to have more of a positive impact on the…
