Doyle lives out his faith as an activist to help victims of abuse from the church and spreading the word of that abuse. He takes part in CatholicWhistleBlowers.org who talk about the churches mishandlings at great cost to their own careers in the clergy. Besides that, he has taken part in the report given to bishops about the issue of sexual abuse in the church and was punished for it, yet continues to voice the problem. He informed the layman of the church about the huge problem the church has with the secrecy of sexual abuse and has offered help to the victims of the abuse. He says it himself in an interview that “the victims in these cases, they are the church” (Breslow). He is saying that the most important part of the church are the ones most damaged by the church and he has committed himself to help those people out. He is a great man who decided to stand up for something that all his peers said to cast aside. He sacrificed his career in the church to get his message across and is still talking about the issue. He seeks justice for the victims of sexual abuse by the church. He is someone who is inspirational because of his courage and commitment. I do not think that I can personally be strong enough to throw away everything just to give someone I do not know a voice. Thomas Doyle can sacrifice for the sake of justice and that is why he most exemplifies committed to
