Three Career Assessment
The three-career Assessment taken last week was an eye opener for me. This is because it makes me understand some new thing about myself. Let me start by analyzing the Triatify Assessment, this assessment gives me a better understand of the kind of person I am or let me say, who am going to become. One thing that surprised me after taking the assessment is that, it said that “I’m a kind of person who is comfortable being the center of attention. My friends admire this about me because I’m not only the life of a party but I have a big heart helping people”. I know this about myself because this is not the first-time people will say something like this to me. I’m a kind of person who loves to go out of my comfort to satisfy people around me,
I like making people happy. The 16 personalities assessment was a good one too but I don’t believe the outcome of the result. Some of the result percentage is not true. For example, the judging section said 74%. Which I don’t know if that is true. Because am not a judgmental person. I don’t judge people or thing like that. I love to watch and monitor things before jumping into conclusion. The last part of the assessment is interest profiler. If I should rate this assessment, I will say 70%. The reason why is because am not satisfy with the result. I know am a social person, I love working with other and helping them, but the assessment gave me 9 in the social. I don’t think that is true but it may be the way the assessment was answered.
The similarities I can point out in the three assessments is that they all explained their results in detail. Also, they give examples of the kind of things the person might like to do. The difference between them is that they focus on different aspect of life. The Triatify Assessment focuses on the careers and majors based on personality, interests, and values.16 personalities are based on who you are and why you do the things the way you do, and the last one is interest profiler assessment which describes the interests and recommend possible careers. But all these three assessments are very important in someone life. They are all related in one way or the other.
