So the first pro is while tmi is running they are losing money. In the last 5 years they lost $500 Billion dollars. Why should they keep it open if they are losing that much money? Also there are many crazy people in this world what if people don't like tmi they could plan to do something and maybe blow it up. I don't think how it has that disposal it's not safe. There are a lot of crazy people that would want to do something like that you never know what they are capable of. It has a environmental impact as well. Counting the bombs they could make the reactors could blow up and all the nuclear energy and radioactive chemicals will wipe out an entire city harrisburg, and the town enola. So the fact that it's capable of producing a lot of energy and electricity it's not safe to be in that part of the city/town.
The significance of the powerplants is that it's fast and running well. Although we're running out on fossil fuels we still need to use them so we can play video games or watch tv have internet, basically anything that has to do with electricity. The point is is that three mile island is amazing at what it does and what it will keep doing I still think it should close because of all the threats that could start the accidents that could happen anything you'll never know what could happen the next day the powerplants could get blown up least expected you never know what isis and others are capable of
