There has been no change to Apple Code of Conduct policy since 2014 when Apple started taking previous audit scores into consideration and conduct detailed risk assessments with suppliers who had not been audited in the past before awarding the new business. In 2014, we reviewed 459 suppliers, and factored their responsibility performance into our decisions. This engagement has allowed Apple to address over 700 findings related to labor standards, worker safety, permits, environmental hazards, and chemical management before production began (Apple – 2014 Supplier Code of Conduct). Apple has made significant progress, gaps still exist, and there is more work to do. Apple knows that workers are counting on them and they will not stop until every person in their supply chain is treated with the respect and dignity they deserve (Apple - Supplier Responsibility 2015 Progress Report).…

Since the dawn of Facebook, the question of if the company is ethical or not has definitely been one that has been under great debate. There are some individuals that feel it is just another tool to give the government as well as other people, in general, an avenue to spy on the majority of our population with. Apple’s position on its ethical and social responsibility should be in direct correlation to Apple 's reputation as it is to the credibility of its products Apple has clearly cited on many occasions the belief that accountability is paramount for them as well as their suppliers. Apple’s supplier code of conduct states their employees are empowered and provided with safe and ethical working conditions. It is their representation that their code goes beyond the industry standards, which should be expected of a company of its magnitude and success. Standing by its products and its impact on its presence in the local communities as well as reducing its negative impact on the environment are all stated in ethical policies and procedures set forth by Apple. In contradiction to its claims of going beyond industry standards it’s documented the business has fallen…
Even though this speech is loaded with pathos, there is also a lot of logos going on. Tim Cook says, “He’s been called a visionary, a creative genius, a rebel, a non-conformist, an original, the greatest CEO ever, the best innovator of all time.” He also talks about how the Macintosh commercial that aired during the Super bowl is considered the greatest ad of all time. All of these things were used to persuade using logic that cannot be argued with.…
Medical assistants perform administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians, podiatrist, chiropractors, and other health practitioners running smoothly. The duties of medical assistants depend on the location and size of the practice and the practitioner's specialty. In small practices, medical assistants usually do many different kinds of tasks, handling both administrative and clinical duties and reporting directly to an office manager, physician, or other health practitioner. Those in large practices tend to specialize in a particular area, under the supervision of department administrators. “Administrative” medical assistants update and file patients' medical records, fill out insurance forms, and arrange for hospital admissions and laboratory services. They also perform tasks less specific to medical settings, such as answering telephones, greeting patients, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling billing and bookkeeping.…
