Atticus is Bold
Atticus is the boldest in town. Atticus fulfilled the trait in many cases but two main cases that I know shows who is is best, both as a person and as a man with a good reputation. In the situations when Mr.Ewells spit on Atticus. His action instead of getting violent even though he obviously could have, was that he simply took his handkerchief and wiped the saliva of his face and through it into the trash. …show more content…
Even though what he did seemed like a small detail, but it really says a lot about him as a person.
Atticus is stating that the spit you have put upon my face means nothing, you mean nothing. Another cases where Atticus took on the case of Tom Robinson. Even though he knew the ruling was going to be overrated. Atticus is Fearful
In the book Atticus starts to become fearful even though he tried to hide it at times. He is basicly fearing on how everything in his life is going to change. The two main points on that is he worried that his kids would catch the disease of Maycomb. That disease being the racism and prejudice of the people of Maycomb. He also fears when he tells scout to stop
fighting. Thinks outside the box
Atticus is the type of person who thinks outside the box. This is true because when he was questioning Mr. Ewell he threw an object at Tom and he caught it with just his right because his left hand got injured when he was 12. Another reason is because Atticus is the type of person to ask the type of question that makes/forces people to tell the truth without them having the knowledge that they did.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion Atticus has a strong affect on others which gives him the traits of being bold, being fearful, and being a thoughtful thinker which brings people to feel protected around him. By defending Tom Robinson Atticus showed others that that there is still good in the world and that made them feel hopeful.
