In the book "To kill a mockingbird" in the chapter 4, the novel shows the lack of thought of other peoples feelings coming from the children playing the game called "Boo Radley". Atticus is Scout's father and he is a very respected man in the small town of Maycomb. When he finds the kids with newspaper and scissors he says, "What are you playing?...What are you doing with those scissors? Does this have anything to do with the Radley's?" This is showing that Atticus doesn't want his kid to be making fun of other people because of how well respected he his in this town.
