Toni The Superhero
Toni The Superhero by R.D Base

Toni the Superhero is a illustrated children's book about a little boy named Toni who has extraordinary powers saving the citizens from his neighborhood. He loves the little things though: from helping out with chores, eating well balanced meals and adequate bedtime Toni is a superhero overall.

One of the cutest and inspiring children's book that everyone needs to read to their kids. I had a smile on my face, it's been a while that I have read a children's book. It's really adorable. I wish I knew how he obtained the powers but I guess it was more metaphorical because he's spreading kindness to his friends and family. It will appeal to parents reading to their kids for bedtime, grade teachers and librarians

Comic books are loved by children, despite the lack of options they have on the market today. Comics aimed for children should be made about them, so they can relate to the story similar to the method used when writing scripts for TV shows and movies. With the electronics on the market today, comic books have to compete for the spot of entertainment in a child’s eyes.…

“Every society needs heroes. And every society has them. The reason we don't often see them is because we don't bother to look. There are two kinds of heroes. Heroes who shine in the face of great adversity, who perform an amazing feat in a difficult situation. And heroes who live among us, who do their work unceremoniously, unnoticed by many of us, but who make a difference in the lives of others” (Yudhoyono). Author Rebecca Skloot exposed hidden secrets and revealed the incredible contribution made to the medical community by an unassuming black woman from the 1960’s, Henrietta Lacks. Through painstaking research and the writing of her book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Rebecca Skloot became a hero in our society.…

An epic hero is a man of extraordinary strength, distinguished courage, and talent admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. I believe heroes should hold many qualities upon themselves such as sacrifice, focus, bravery, courage, determination, and loyalty. A hero, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act, and is regarded as a model or ideal. Beowulf is a character of a legendary epic hero. He becomes a leader of his people, which is destined to face the source of danger.he is willing to risk his life for the greater good, his people. He is also willing to face his fears, and meet them head on. Beowulf makes difficult/ hard decisions, even when the outcome is bad. And Beowulf demonstrates in many ways all the characteristics and qualities of being a true hero.…

I learned to see the other side of these children the more I interacted with them. I watched their jubilant, excited faces as they turned the pages to see the next story and stared at the pictures. I laughed with them at their small successes, overjoyed that I had been a part of helping them develop and mature. It was amusing, watching them as they would stumble over a math problem, but when they finally understood, would look up at me with glowing faces. Their insatiable love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm during reading time has inspired and motivated me to try new ventures with optimism. Jasper especially has taught me the power that comes from learning to understand a person no matter how irritating or intimidating he/she may be. If we can only be willing to open our heart and mind and listen, our small acts can do indeed do great deeds; so that these children may grow up to be people who will one day be able to change society as I hope to do so in the…
