One of the people who changed my level of fear was a man named Ayaz. He told me that “no one is perfect and everyone must fail to know the successful steps.” He taught how he was in the same predicament as I was, but he told me to develop a habit of staying positive as well as increasing my skills in various ways. Ayaz explained how time management was the greatest thing I could focus on and how I should stay on top of all my work ahead of time. He emphasized that staying focused on my grades and the opportunities I received rather then the negatives would help me succeed as a student. Not only did Ayaz change me to being more motivated and positive, but my father gave me the words I needed. My father told me that as of right now I was not working as hard as I should and be not attending my desired high school was a wakeup call. It was a sign telling me to start caring about my future, to start having a drive to do my best, and I truly realized that my father was right.
