Chapter I
Introduction
Communication is a necessity for survival. It is an innate human desire that man wants to the other people around establish commonness by sharing, information, exchanging message, signals, ideas, signs or behavior.
Language is believed to the primary element of most human communication throughout human civilization the basic mode communication is by spoken means. For which different languages are generated. Language itself is a system of sounds and words used by ones to express one’s feelings, emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc. People love to spend more time in listening and speaking rather than reading and writing. Among these areas the basic thing, which we learn the first to communication is speaking and rest of them are learned later on. Some how our formal education has ignored this speaking part of the communication.
Jospereson (1975) says, “Language is the set of human habits, the purpose of which is to give expression to human thoughts and feelings especially to impart them to others. (Ibid, P No. 4).
The most commonly used second language of communication around the world is English. It has emerged as a linga franka our Government educational policies also emphasize on learning and promoting English, as it’s a need of times.
Despite the efforts being made our students have still not developed the necessary skills required through they have the knowledge of the language but they are unable to express interact verbally. The education system as continued to improve the structural. Part of the language, however the more natural and communicative aspect of languages has been ignored. But now, for this purpose qualified trained teachers were appointed and English textbooks were prepared by the Punjab textbook board Lahore.
The primary focus of this research has been maintained on the importance of communication and analysis
