Dasani is a brand of bottled water from Coca Cola. Dasani was launched after the success of Aquafina which was produced by PepsiCo.
What brand problem are you attempting to solve with an IMC?
The problem with Dasani bottled water was found to have illegally high levels of bromate, a cancer causing chemical. This has stopped customers from buying Dasani.
Who do you think the target audience is? (Remember that you will need to confirm this with research.)
The target audience is their current customers as well as new customers.

There are several similar or competitive brands available. PepsiCo Aquafina is one that
I will be comparing. Aquafina brand advertises its water as “Pure Water-Perfect Taste.” Aquafina strips out all minerals and other substances to create its “Pure” water.

I will speak on other brands in my paper.

How does your brand differ from competitors? What is the distinctive competitive advantage?
To me, Dasani has a better taste. It’s enhanced with minerals for a pure, fresh taste.

Do you have questions for your instructor? Please list them here.
Dr. K, if this isn’t approved I will focus on Coca Cola and Pepsi.

Bisphenol-A is a compound found in plastic the is very harmful for human consumption yet we still use plastic bottles that have this compound in it to consume our water. Thirty-eight internationally recognized scientists said "We are extremely concerned about the impact of this (Bisphenol-A) on human health." There have been hundreds of studies done testing Bisphenol-A that all show that it causes cancer and impacts the male reproductive system. This is where the film used ethos to convince the viewers that what these companies are doing is hurting human health when we consume their product. Then they also used logos when they showed an interview they had with a representative from the FDA, who approves the use of bottled water, and they had to stop the interview because they would not answer any questions about the studies done about the harmful effects of Bisphenol-A. The FDA only has one person in charge of bottled water in the U.S. and the FDA has only accepted studies from the bottled water companies. They have not looked at the evidence of any independent studies that have been done. After we consume the harmful chemicals that have leaked into our water and we are finished with the bottle we simply throw it away and they all go into…

The sun rises high above the hot and humid park. My friends were having a soccer tournament that day. I was so thirsty. We had to go back to my car for more water. I had run out of water half an hour ago, and my cousins were out or running dangerously low on the potion of life. The 98-degree soccer field had absorbed the fluids from my body like a grape dehydrator to make raisins. We finally reached my car. I quickly reach for the trunk of the car reached into the cooler, and I grabbed a bottle of water. I cracked the seal, threw my head back, and gradually chugged two-third of the bottle. So refreshing I thought to my self as I began throwing bottles of water to my cousin Sara and San. I was used to drinking bottled water when I was out enjoying an event at a park. I finish the bottle and put it into a recycling trash bag.…

(World Health Organisation, 2017) Water chlorination has led to the declination of most waterborne epidemics in today's world, due to its elimination of common pathogens such as E. coli, salmonella and listeria. This has severely reduced instances of cholera, dysentery, typhoid fever and gastroenteritic diseases, all of which remain key causes of death in developing countries that cannot afford proper water sanitation. (Water Quality and Health Council, 2017) Hence, although THMs in chlorinated water are possible carcinogens, the health hazards of non-disinfected water are much…
