Tranquilities Journey
I was sore from training, the night sky was dark and filled with stars, knowing the evil Mordam was out there made me upset, I had seen him once, he was once my father’s body guard, he was loyal until he blamed my father for his son’s death years ago even though my father told Mordam that his son was too young for battle, only 12 years of age fighting in battle fighting the city of Nefar’s army. Mordam left the city of Tranquility with a rage and joined the evil empire of Nefar, he once then became king for his bravery and smarts by going through the Forest Of Deception, A forest so unpredictable and dangerous that its known as where people go to die. Mordam was now fighting against the one he once protected, the king, my father. Soon I shall be king and take over my father’s position, however I need to prove my loyalty and kingship before being crowned, I have one idea that would prove such a high honor, killing Mordam.
My name is Isaac and I’ve been training for years with my father and his men, a much better fighter I am than Mordam’s son that died years ago, I am now sixteen years old and ready to fight, ready to protect the city of Tranquility.
I awoke early from my sleep to join the march towards the city of Nefar, however to get there, we need to walk the Forest Of Deception, There are multiple things in the forest I don’t want to encounter, and one of those thing are a Cyclops, Last year a soldier got stepped on by one. No one besides Mordam has walked it, so this is a real risk, but my task is to kill Mordam, and I will do exactly that. After putting my armor on and wielding my shield and sword, I walk toward the march, after organizing the march we start the long walk towards the Forest Of Deception.
We were feet away from the entrance of the forest and the march leader was telling the army all the dangers you can find in it. He also told us there was a note, it read “Only the chosen will get to exit, but there is
