The conservative parties are more so against the validation of transgender individuals and refer to their situation as ‘Gender Identity Disorder’ and that it is a problem that can be fixed. Religious radicals believe that they are sexual deviants and should have to use their birth gender. However, the liberal party believes that they should use the facilities of their identified gender. Surprisingly, republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, for once has a decent opinion, saying that transgenders should, “use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate” (Donald Trump). The major concerns of those who are against the rights of transgender is safety of women and children and the fact that it contradicts their religious beliefs.
