Travelling back in Time
Good evening, sirs and madams. Recall what was in your mind on the 21st December, 2012, which was also known as the Doomsday of the World.
Did you have a thought of travelling back in time?
To me, time-travelling is something that triggers my traumatic moments in my life.
And I really wanted to travel back in time due to two reasons. I did believe in time-travelling when I was six years old. At that time, an idea just popped up from my mind -- If I got a chance to travel back in time, I could buy the “Mark Six” with the winning lottery numbers I get, then I would become a millionaire. I could buy all the robots from the store and visit the Disneyland every day.

That’s why every time “Mark Six” shown on the TV, I would be sitting on the couch, turning the TV volume to the maximum, and staring at the screen without even a blink.

But before that, I needed to steal the remote control from my granny. She always got so angry and blamed on me. But when I look back now, I can’t believe how naughty and naive I was.

So, my reason to travel back time seems to be silly, but last year, I made it serious. That’s because my grandma passed away from cancer in her eighty-six.
At that moment, I was so desperate to go back in time. I yearned for her return. I promised to give her back the remote control, but I was remorseful and regretful to miss the chance to do so.

You know what, sadness sometimes makes you see something. And I got a chance to realize something small but means big. Well, perhaps I have learnt a great lesson from my granny, and I have realized what T-I-M-E truly means.

‘T’ is TREASURE. What I mean is to cherish our time. From now on, seize the moment you have, and use it well.

While ‘I’, stands for IRREVERSIBLE. We should be very careful before making any decisions, or we will spend the rest of our life feeling regretted. What comes next is ‘ME” me. It means that how to use your time is totally upon your

An interesting point to this discussion is that many of the “pros” are argued by some to be disadvantages, and many of the “cons” are believed to be the advantages of the system by others. It could be said that the Electoral College was created for a different time in this country, but by some degree of fortune and foresight it is one of the staples of our government today.…

From the time I even had enough sense to think, I would always hold my tongue, because if I spoke my mind I might be hit by my mother. If I took a risk and spoke my mind, I might lose my job. I looked back up at Death, who was smiling at me warmly, seemingly understanding my epiphany. “See what I mean?” He said, rather smugly.…

Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day... There are only so many tomorrows.”. Mortality is something that is very easy to forget in our day to day lives. If you waste the time that you have you don’t ever get it back. Time is a limited resource and one day you will die, so use your time and opportunities wisely. Wasting time in front of a TV watching shows that won’t make any difference on your life in a week isn't productive. Too many people put things off in life. They claim they will get it done next week or tomorrow, yet never accomplish these tasks. Constantly making up an excuses to push off things until a later date is the least productive tactic. You can't wait for the perfect moment in life, because there is no such thing. This moment is the only moment that you can control, so reach for it it and don’t let it slip away, because nothing is guaranteed.…

“Time is really the only capital that any human being has and the only he can’t afford to lose” (Thomas Jefferson). You can do anything if you have the time and use it properly. When Jefferson says time is something you can’t afford to lose, he means always live in the moment. Don’t worry about the future or else you will lose time. You can’t change the past, you can change the future, you should live in the moment. Be happy right now instead of worrying about the future. What he’s saying is that if you spend too much time worrying, you will lose the time that you have right now.…

The year was 2077 when the world fell into a deep darkness the world that I had once knew was gone. It was around 8 in the morning on a cold December day, when the first bombs had been dropped. What had been an average joyful December day turned into a nightmare filled with sadness and terror within a few matter of seconds. That same day the war between the United States,Russia, and China had began and ended when each country decided to launch their nuclear weapons at each other. Within minutes almost every major city on the East Coast including New york,Boston,Philadelphia, and Washington D.C were devastated leaving them to ruins and submerged with lethal doses of radiation. The earth once so beautiful and green was now dark and left to ashes.…

Prices on anything and everything are skyrocketing. Employee’s hours are slowly getting cut at work. Minimum wage is staying at a constant. All of these things are affecting our lives in a negative way. Many families have had to foreclose their homes and file bankruptcy. Kids have a hard time finding financial aid for school, and it is preventing them from trying to get an education. You would think everyone in the world would open there eyes and see what is happening and try to fix it, but we, the human race, are encouraging our fate; the end of time. December 22, 2012 is the universal prediction of the end of time. It is up to us to change that, but we are too ignorant to work together and try to mend the damage we have done. Why did I mention the end of time? Because, in a deeper sense, it ties in with social class. The division among people has given us a reason to judge others. Some upper class citizens feel high and mighty compared to the lower class. This is also where stereotyping comes from. We have nicknames like trailer trash, white trash, and nigger. These names come from the classification the human race made for themselves. John Quincy Archibald faced all of these problems, and that is why his situation serves has an excellent…
