Another challenge of recidivism to take into consideration is error for the model, because information provide may be affected by the offender having more than one criminal record. An advantage of this model would be that it keeps measures of supporting recidivism can lead to curative justice that views the future of the offenders records. One of the challenges that relapse face is getting urine samples from offenders. Another issues that may occur in this model would include those with mental health issues that are more likely to relapse because of withdraw form medications. An advantage of relapse model would be that it offer short-term impatient and outpatient services for offenders. Harm-reduction challenge focus on insignificant long-term outcomes.
