Indeed, Troy has tasted life and most of which it could
offer. He started off as a refugee and as if life could not get any worse he became a thief. Eventually, Troy became a murderer where went to jail for it. He tasted the prison’s life did not waste a second upon receiving it. Arguably, this is an excellent example of what regret can do to a man; it either changes one for the better or t may also have detrimental effects. Troy changed his life, got another wife and child and began living his life while enjoying the little victories of the life that came his way.
Apparently, Fences, the name of this play just shows the walls put up by people either to protect ourselves from something or to avoid it. To enclose some people in or to let others stay out. Like when we move to a new house and find a fence separating our new neighbor and us. We can also move in find no fence but still put up a fence because maybe we do not like something about our neighbor or for our privacy. Despite this, fences will always be present for one reason or another, and they may be put up, or we may have to put them up ourselves.
