I think what their grandma meant when she said "this is costing y'all a fortune" was that it is probably costing them a lot to pay for the heat to keep somewhat warm in Flint. She probably doesn't have to really worry about her electricity bill being high because she lives in AL where it is much warmer. And about the TT AB-700..well we found out what that was in the next chapter. I guess it was their version of a radio back in the day. A record player that works in the car! I didn't enjoy only reading about the brown bomber the entire chapter. Did you find anything enjoyable or interesting in chapter 8? The only think I thought was interesting in chapter 8 was discovering what the TT AB-700 was. In chapter 9, why do you think Byron wanted to sneak out before they left for Birmingham? Byron never wants to be apart of what the family is doing..and that is why he is my least favorite character. Who is your least favorite character and why? I think it is hilarious that his parents made him sleep in their room the night before the trip so he wouldn't escape. hahaha. When will Byron learn his lesson? I have a feeling this trip is going to be horrible, especially since Byron already has plans to make everyone miserable on the way down. Why do you think he is giving the silent treatment? And do you think Momma cares if Byron is silent the whole trip down? Haha I don't think so. It was also so funny when Byron told a Yo Mama joke to Kenny but they have the same mom so that's awkward. Hahaha. What intentions do you think the Watsons have for going down south? Are they moving in or just visiting? What do you predict will happen when they get down there? I'm excited for their adventure in chapter 10. Talk to you
