While I understand that some may agree with Tupac, based on the positive and impacting efforts of the younger generation in the Black Lives Matter movement, it is important to also understand that it takes more than physical efforts to change a society rooted in the systematic slavery of African American peoples. True responsibility of initiating an impacting maximum change in this country falls on the shoulders of the upper middle class African Americans, ages 35-54, because this sector of the population will be the utmost capable of positively impacting the movement. They will be able to contribute economically, while also teaching the younger generation and providing guidance they need.The “Median Real Household Incomes By Age Bracket” chart examines the different levels of income based on the age bracket in America. Citizens 35-54 earn the top salaries, averaging $72,000 combined in 2016 (Short 2016). The affluent members of our culture can pool their resources and allocate funds to dominant members of society who hold power.
