TV Show: Come Fly with me.
Come Fly With Me (CFWM) is one of the greatest and most entertaining comedy sitcom I have watched for a very long time. It ticked all the boxes for me. The sitcom is suitable for the comedy genre because it does exactly what it does on the tin. The script for CFWM is written and directed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas. The duo actors are famously well-known for starring in another nations big hit sitcom, Little Brittan.
The setting of CFWM could not be better, as the recording is done at a “real airport” - London’s third busiest airport, Stansted. The sitcom has variety of roles acted by the duo – one minute they act as a check in desk staff and the next minute they act as air stewards and from cleaner to chief immigration officer. With beautifully masked faces, they play different characters and apply different accent and voice changing. One would never know they were the same individuals. It’s so good, they can act even as an opposite gender and even different race. The execution of voice changing, and other external features are impressive to say the least. The well known producers have taken their individual talent to the next level by producing such an entertaining program which consists of laughter and amusement. Strong language and swearing forms central to all roles. Nevertheless, CWFM is set to become a household name.
In my opinion, which is also shared by the industry critics, believes CFWM is on a different level from other comedy sitcoms. CFWM has not been produced with one particular age group or gender for that matter. Rather, the producer have attempted to balance the comedy to appeal to the vast viewers as possible. Other sitcoms focus on a particular targeted audience such as the old, youth, middle age or a particular sex. . This makes other sitcoms loathed and ranked very low when compeered to CFWM.
One particular scene really stands out for me - The chief immigration
