In my lines, Romeo was just told he was banished from Verona, and as to be expected he is very upset. Romeo feels as if this is the end of the world because a life without Juliet is a life not worth living according to Romeo. Romeo explains his exile to be torture, and everything but mercy, as he says “'Tis torture and not mercy. Heaven is here, Where Juliet lives”. This leads Romeo to make up a risky plan that results in the suicides of both Romeo and Juliet.
