There is not one place that offers the bachelor 's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the state of Alabama, but there is one in South Georgia. At Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Alabama, it costs $140.00 per credit hour with in-state tuition. If you are paying out of state tuition then it will cost $280.00 per credit hour. Upon completing this degree the graduate will have to provide safe patient care, produce accurate sonograms, obtain measurements, perform calculations on demand, review patient information, provide optimal imaging, and maintain professional standards.
