UNDERSTAND THE ROLE OF THE SOCIAL WORKER

1.1 IN YOUR WORKING RELATIONSHIP YOU WOULD BE FRIENDLY, HAVE A DIFFERENT APPROACH, TREAT WITH EQUALITY, YOU WOULD KNOW YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES, YOU WOULD NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION AS YOU WOULD AS WITH FRIENDS. ALSO A WORKING RELATIONSHIP HAS NO EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT AND IS PRIMARILY BASED AROUND WORK AND YOUR JOB, WHERE AS A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP DOES HAVE AN EMAOTIONAL ATTATCHMENT

1.2 THE DIFFERENT WAYS OF WORKING RELATIONSHIPS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE SETTINGS WOULD COME IN MANY FORMS SUCH AS POLICY MAKING, ADMINISTRITIVE, AND THE HANDS ON STAFF, THE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE STARTS WITH THE POILCY MAKING AS THEY HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT LAW TO THE PUBLIC SECTOR AND THEY WILL DELGATE THE JOB OF IMPLEMENTING DECISIONS TO THE ADMINISTRATION TEAM, WHO THEN WILL WORK OUT THE CORRECT WAYS AND CORRECT PROCEDURES FOR ACTION AND REPORTING BACK, THEN YOU HAVE THE HANDS ON STAFF WHO WILL IMPLEMENT THOSE PROCEDURES IN WORK AND DAILY JOBS.

2.1 IT IS IMPORTANT TO ADHERE TO THE SCOPE OF YOUR JOB ROLE AS THIS SETS OUT BOUDARIES IN YOUR JOB ROLE, ENABLES YOU TO KNOW YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY, KNOWING YOUR OWN LEVEL OF COMPETENCE AND SKILLS, TO KNOW YOUR JOB ROLE, IF SOMEONE ASKED YOU TO DO ANOTHER ROLE IT WOULD NOT BE OK IF YOU CARRIED OUT THE TASKS BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT TRAINED IN THIS PARTICULAR ROLE AND YOU COULD VERY WELL BECOME INJURED OR INJURE SOMEBODY ELSE AROUND YOU.

2.2 AGREED WAYS OF WORKING IS WORKING WITHIN THE RULES SET OUT BY YOUR EMPLOYER. FOLLOWING POLICIES AND PROCEDUERS OF THE COMPANY
IMPORTANT TO HAVE UP TO DATE AGREED WAYS OF WORKING AS THERE MAY BE CHANGES IN POLICIES WITH IN THE LAW. YOUR COMPANY MAY HAVE TO IMPLEMENT THEM TO HELP PROTECT THE VUNERABLE

2.3 WITHOUT A JOB DESCRIPTION HOW WOULD YOU APPLY FOR A JOB, BOTH THE EMPLOYER AND YOUR SELF NEED TO KNOW THE PERIMETERS THAT YOU WILL WORK TO BE ABLE TO DETERMINE, THE RESPONSIBILITY, THE TYPE AND
