Honestly, I would say that unions are more beneficial to employees than employers. I find his to be evident because according to Bernardin and Russell (2013) it is acknowledged that, worker-management relationships are strongly affected by the presence of unions. Thus, vital HR decisions such as compensation, promotion, demotion, discipline, and termination require union involvement instead of management directly handling the issues with the individual employee they have to handle these significant personnel issues through the union. Employees believe unions are more beneficial in how they promote better wages, more access to benefits, job security and thus workers apart of unions can only be terminated for “just cause”.
