Unit 12 P6 Business Level 3
In this task I am being asked to explain the challenges of globalization for a selected business when they are using the Internet as a marketing tool. I have decided to use New Look as my selected business.

Globalization can be summarized as the process that an organization starts to integrate on a global scale.

When it comes to online marketing there are many risks an individual can face when it comes to purchasing online. As this generation is all about technology most things that are set up online require personal information for example New Look requires its customer to set up an online account to purchase items. This may make the customers wary, as they wouldn’t like to become a victim of fraud due to payment security being an issue.

New look have tried there best to meet customer expectations as they have made the online website more user friendly for their customers by providing product information and also allowing customer to choose their own delivery times for more efficiency. But as its online business, customers will still need someone to help deal with queries and problems that they may be facing. So this may require the business to have online help centers but this may be difficult to provide for customers on a global scale, as there will be translations needed for some of the companies they ship to.

As I have mentioned in the previous paragraph New Look has been selling internationally for a while now and they make this successful by making the website user friendly for all its customers. A big problem that they had faced was getting their website translated for different countries because not everyone can read English. While converting their website to help them meet customer expectations they will face quite a bit of technical difficulties as they wont be able to provide translations for every language in the world.

Overall New Look has been able to face the challenges of globalisation easily and was able to integrate with other
