1. Introduction
This research analyses the dominant leadership style in ESCO Group of Companies, and demonstrates the correlation between personal characteristics and leadership style of managers in one of ESCO business units under Marketing segment, GIZVO Aviation. This paper shows that the dominant leadership style in ESCO Group of Companies is Autocratic in few cases but Situational in general. Thus it demonstrates that the leadership style in GIZVO Aviation that is identical to the leadership style in ESCO.
One of the intriguing fields in management is Leadership-Styles. Today's leadership in ESCO has been more complicated, as a result of the continuum restructuring which is quite frequent due to the growing global competition & the rapid growth of the company nationally & internationally in addition to the demographic changes of the workforce and the technological evolution. These mentioned changes have created some new challenges for the managers; who are expected to cope with the frequent changes of the organisational structure and culture considering the emotional support to be provided to the employees during the times of change.
