Using Drones In Law Enforcement

The use of Drone is beneficial to law enforcement and many others things that can be used for goods. Drones can be used to trace suspects, target enemy and target terrorist groups around the world. This kind of technology have been already used by law enforcement, mostly used by law enforcement is helicopter. According to Hope Reese article, drone is no different then helicopter, “When the courts look at it, they'd look at drones being the same as a helicopter. It's a platform with vertical takeoff and landing and can hover over a site.” (Reese). Over a decade, law enforcement had been using helicopter to search criminals and many more things. There is no difference drone replacing helicopter, it will give law enforcement more advantage because drones can fly into places that helicopter cannot. “where a drone will be able to fly into a location where somebody is firing from a concealed position. Or a barricaded person in the drone would be able to drop a canister of pepper spray or tear gas to get a person to come out of hiding” (Reese) this imply that law enforcement are using drone to keep police officers out of danger with the use of drones to search for criminal, not only that it will help them to catch the fugitive fast. Law enforcement are using drone to save lives and to make united state safe from criminals and terrorism.

Claim:
It is true that misused of drone can lead to serious threat to privacy, but it is also true that with proper used of drones, police officers, solders will be out of danger and stop crimes, terrorist attack form happening. Everyone likes to have no interference in their private life but in the mean time everyone wants to be safe. With rules, regulation and proper used of drone, it is possible to have private and safe
