Another reason why I think using Utilitarianism is the most morally right thing to do in this situation is because nine lives are worth more than one life so it would only be right to save the most lives. Some people would say that this is wrong because you could end up killing that one nice person and the other nine people could be bad people which then you would have to evaluate is it worth to save someone’s life if they are a murderer for example. You would then have to use utilitarianism again and weigh up the best option because if you save nine murderers and then kill the one person who might volunteer to help children or raise money for charity then killing the nines murderers would be the most morally right decision.
