The students from North Garden High School will be the focus because of the quality of students learning behaviors, home environment, past experiences with education, and teachers’ attitudes are the many influences on student achievement. Therefore I will addressing how these students can be viewed as “promise” rather than “at risk”, and preparing them to reach their full potential. For example, treating them with respect, not like a criminal and drug users, teachers can be role models in dress code, speech, behavior, and showing compassion.
