If I was a soldier in Valley Forge I would have had to think every little detail out before I made my decision. Would I be better off leaving? Would I have a good chance of staying alive if I stayed? A Lot of people were dying, or getting sick. One of my factors for leaving was the death rate. In just about one year we lost about 4,000 people. In just December- June we lost 1,800-2,500. A Lot of people got sick and they didn't have the medicine or the doctors to help them so they got even more sick and ended up dying. Why would someone want to stay if they knew that they had a good chance of dying? You had a 50% chance of dying. (I got all this information from Document
