VARK Questionnaire
At the end of VARK questionnaire , this student has learning style called multimodal with a high score of 12 in visual and kinesthetic which fall into category abbreviated as VK .There are some individuals that fall into the multimodal category. An example includes an individual may score high in visual (V) and kinesthetic (K) which others may score in different categories like auditory, and read/write (VARK) . An example of this is this student is attending a class in which the discussion is on the digestive system. The student would depend heavily on visual techniques of learning. Colors, such as dye would be used to help suggest in isolating different enzymes. Pictures would be taken to aid in visualize the different enzymes. Other areas, such as microbiology, would assist this student in this style of learning .
Learning is,“a learning preference is defined as the most effective and efficient modality, in which a learner has a natural preference to perceive, process, store, and recall new information “(Prithishkumar,I J & Michael.S.A.2014) Learning styles are defined with detailed guidelines at times its difficult because of varieties of learning styles in this category .Implementing different strategies depending on individual preference ..Therefore, it is important to know and recognize types of learning styles that suit an individual and implement that …show more content…
An example includes if a read/write learner studies with the kinesthetic learner, both will find themselves unsatisfied .
In conclusion, is important for students, teachers, groups, business individuals to familiarize and know the learning styles that suits them. There are other resources online that can assist the student in knowing their learning styles.The VARK questionnaire is one of this resources in determining a learning style This questionnaire can prove to be a helpful resource in determining the capability to recognize and recollect information better than before.
