VelaShape II

VelaShape II, manufactured by Syneron, is an FDA Approved non-surgical body contouring treatment for circumferential and cellulite elimination that combines bipolar radiofrequency, infrared light, vacuum pump technology, and mechanical massage to remove stubborn fat from the body. VelaShape II allows you to achieve a toned, contoured, and well shape body to make you feel and look more youthful.

How does VelaShape II work?

The combination of radiofrequency and light energy is applied through electrodes and heats up the cells so they will burst and melt. The spectrum of light energy is about 700 to 2000nm. The purpose of the vacuum pump technology and the mechanical massage is to smoothen the skin. 85% of the patients revealed that there is a 1 cm or more reduction on their thighs after the session. There are also patients who lost 7.2 cm or so. VelaShape II provides results without any discomfort. The patient is allowed to return to his or her daily activity right after the session.
