To implement the recommended change I would use a 60 to 90 day time line. The reason that I am recommending a long timeline for rollout is due to the fact that Verizon has over 50 vendor office worldwide. All of these vendor offices have already received training on how to handle and care for Verizon customers so the majority of the training is already done. The main reason for a long period of time for the suggested change is to see how the change actually effects the business. While we did do our due diligence in the research section prior reaching the implementation phase we still need to be careful when making changes to processes involving the company. With the two to three month rollout plan we will be able to monitor the ticket resolution…
Most households in the US have at least one cellular phone. With the continuing increase in wireless devices and interface, it is important to look at the cellular carrier to decide who has the best coverage, best prices, and ultimately who will be able to continue to provide the best services. In deciding which carrier will be able to provide the best service in the future, we will look at two cellular providers, Verizon (VZ) and Sprint Nextel Corp (S). This comparison will focus on cash flow to see how they use their cash, what their cash position is, and determine which one is in the best financial position.…

It seems ambiguous whether the Kindle Fire can be categorized as a tablet or e-reader. Nowadays, these two terms are looking and performing quite similarly thus making it difficult to tell them apart. There are some important differences between the two that will prove useful in making this distinction. The first is screen size as the Kindle Fire has a 7-ich screen, which is consistent with most other e-readers. In contrast, tablets come in a range of sizes but some of the more popular ones such as the i-Pad can have 10-iche screens. Another key differentiator is the software in each product; the i-Pad runs on the iOS, which has extensive online stores that have thousands of apps. They allow for a lot of options when you can have the option to download a second web browser outside of the one pre-installed. The Kindle Fire runs a special proprietary version of Android owned by Amazon with fewer features and available apps.…
I found an example of marketing success in the article “Will cord cutting come to the cellphone? “. In this article, T-Mobile is doing better than its competitors by offering a plan that is cheaper and that will permit all customers who do not make phone calls to save up to $30 each month. I think this is a success because the plan that T-Mobile offers is based on a study of customers’ behavior. There are many customers that do not make phone calls. They use only the internet, some apps and text messages to communicate. T-Mobile decided to offer more data and unlimited text messages, but no phone calls, except emergency calls. This plan is available in the other companies but is restricted to deaf and hard-of-hearing customers. By doing…
