Vermont
Out of all the places in the world to live, places like Australia, Spain, California, and even Russia, I would choose to stay in the United States and live in the state of Vermont. To me, Vermont is a place in the United States that is not talked about very much. The state looks very friendly, calm, and quite beautiful. There are many activities that you can do year-round as well. I feel as if the state of Vermont is a great place to relocate. Usually whenever I am asked where I want to live later in life, I usually reply with somewhere peaceful, like Vermont. It seems to me that Vermont is not talked about a lot because there are not a lot of people that live there. The main conversations about the state usually follow in regards of the landscape, …show more content…

I never hear anything bad happening there, which is also why I claim it to be a calm place. If you look up Vermont you will see that the scenery there is one of the main things that pops up when searched. Vermont also has the lowest crime rate in America. Also with such a small population, Vermont is the ideal place to retire or raise a family, which brings me to another point; Vermont is one of the best states in the country for education. The state has one of the nation’s oldest universities and it ranks 18th out of a top 30 public universities that place their students in prestigious programs. Though Vermont may be a small state, it is a great place to be outdoors with mountains, forests, lakes, and rivers that provide the opportunity to be outdoors all year long. The famous Green Mountains have something for everyone whether it be skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to sightseeing, hiking and climbing in the remaining three seasons. In conclusion, if I were to relocate myself and could never return to Iowa, I would choose to resort to Vermont. From its beautiful scenery that revolves around getting outside and just enjoying what you see, the state’s calm and friendliness, low crime rates, and high quality education it seems like a no-brainer to relocate myself to

To begin, Florida known as “the sunshine state” hooks you in as soon as you enter the state. There are so many beautiful exotic looking flowers in the landscaping of homes and businesses. Of course, the warmer climate is the main attraction in Florida. The annual average high is 79F degrees and the average low is 57F degrees. Snow rarely falls in most of Florida, but has on occasion in the northern peninsula. Florida also has an abundant annual rainfall especially during the months of June through September. In addition, Florida is located between the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf of Mexico, therefore it also has exceptionally high humidity and of course there is always a chance of hurricanes as well. Undoubtedly, both of these items are a major downfall to me.…

Puerto Rico is a beautiful place. The sun is always shining and the temperature does not go below eighty degrees Fahrenheit. If you run out of something like sugar or salt, you can always knock on your neighbor’s door and they will be happy to help you out. They treat everyone as if they were family. There is always something to do. Either you can go to the beach, go to the waterfalls, take a stroll through the jungles, or even sit under a palm tree and drink out of a coconut shell. Although there are many pros, there are also many cons. The crime rate in the island of Puerto Rico is high. Many fights involve objects, not just fists. It can be a brick, a stick, or even a broom. Fights are taken very serious. Also, the economy is not in great shape. Despite all of the cons, people seem to focus on the pros. The beaches are breath taking. The water is crystal-clear blue. Ideal Place to Live

    • 453 Words
    • 2 Pages

When it comes to thinking of the ideal place to live two things come to mind. The big bustling city or a small quiet town. My choice would be the small town for several reasons. One it’s quiet. There are not a lot of people which can help cut down on crime and violence. Third there are a lot of different sights and sounds that you don’t get to see nor hear in a big city. Last but not least you normally have a better school system in small towns.…
