During my two years at Richard Daley College, I have continually found ways to be proactive in helping my community and school. Therefore, I decided to join the non-profit organization One Million Degrees, which provides educational resources, career development, and volunteering opportunities. I am a second year scholar and dedicated to volunteering my services even after graduation. One Million Degrees has been instrumental in helping me gain leadership experience through volunteering.
