Walmart Fight Pros And Cons
The United States is full of hilarious people. Especially Southern America that never stops entertaining us. Especially when it comes to White Trash.

From a Walmart fight to an Oklahoma party, below is the list of top 5 White Trash Youtube Videos.

1. White Trash Woman Racist

People can be racist but this woman went a little bit too far. Drunk and stupid, she outlined the very nature of her Cro-Magnon heritage. I bet she would be a perfect addition to one of the local Florida zoos. Let her entertain us.

2. Trashy and Stupid Walmart Fight

Do you like watching people fight? What if it's a confrontation between 2 mid-age ladies who are throwing punches on each other's faces?

It seems like Walmart is a favorite spot of White Trash women.

When you hear the words low prices it is hard not to think of Wal-Mart. The company that revolutionized discount shopping. But what happens behind the scenes? How is it that the world’s largest retail chain can offer so many deals? In the last 20 years the anti-Walmart campaign seems to continuously be on the minds of many. Sebastian Mallaby and Karen Olsson share radically different views on the ethics of the Wal-Mart Corporation. In “Up Against Wal-Mart” we are forced to believe that Wal mart is a vicious company that shows no remorse when firing employees and cutting their benefits. The author produces factual information and eyewitness accounts pointing to these horrible deeds that the large corporation run by money hungry businessmen have cheated many employees out of proper wages, proper benefits and even their jobs. While Sebastian Mallaby depicts Wal-Mart like the average American company. In his article “Progressive Wal-Mart. Really.” He states that while Wal-Mart is responsible for many questionable deeds, they are merely doing what they have to in order to survive.…

    Up against Wal-Mart

Karen Olsson believes that Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer company, under pays their employees for the amount of work they do daily. They do not offer good working conditions for their employees or enough medical benefits to support themselves and their families. Sebastian Mallaby says that Wal-Mart is not wrong for the way that they run their business; he feels as though Wal-Mart does their consumers a favor by keeping the wages low and offering “low prices” (620). It’s just business! They have to do what it takes to remain the world’s top retailer and continue to, “enrich shareholders, and put rivals out of business” (620). Karen Olsson and Sebastian Mallaby both address the topic of big business in today’s economy, but I find Karen Olsson’s argument to be the most persuasive because she has more information and quotes to support her opinion and views of the way that Wal-Mart treats their workers, while Sebastian Mallaby’s article is quite the opposite. Their opinions are very different but they share common interests which are: Wal-Mart, their customers, and their workers.…

Megan McArdle, the author of Walmart's Wage Experiment Works... for Workers, compares wage increases with different workforces at Walmart stores. McArdle provides the reader with ideas and questions like, "What happens if different stores did this?" and other questions relating to the effort needed to continue production if Walmart increased or the number of employees needed to fill the new workplaces. Claims like, "Paying higher wages has allowed Walmart to attract better workers, resulting in cleaner, nicer stores." Throughout the article, McArdle compares Costco's way of work with Walmart's and concludes that people living/working in rural(ish) areas generally make less money and have less workers, so "up"ing the wages would help those less…

Today’s economy and the increased unemployment rate have made the average American household drastically change their spending habits. The average household has to function on surviving with less. Which brings me to my topic. We have become a savvier shopper; ultimately looking for the establishment can offer the most for our money with out sacrificing quality. We have become “bargain shoppers”. When I think of a discount store two major companies come to mind Target and Wal-Mart. The merchandise and services provided are pretty much comparable. Many of its customer population shops there for two simply reasons one is out of loyalty and the other being it’s a preference.…

Target has a long standing tradition of providing superior products to consumers. Whether it is clothing or your groceries, Target is known for being a top competitor to the retail giant Wal-Mart. Target also has a long standing tradition of making economic decisions that benefit the consumer. In their most recent decision to move into Canada, Target is now moving into international business. Their brand name is not widely known throughout Canada, but given their reputation in America, Target should have no problem entering the Canadian market.…

Southern identities created in reality television are shaping the work and wellbeing of southerners, as well as their loss concept of self through southern livelihood. In recent years, reality television programs featuring “redneck” culture in particular have witnessed increased popularity. These southern reality television programs present southerners doing everything from frequently proceeding with unacceptable rude and obscene behavior, eating triple fried foods at county fairs, fishing with their bare hands, and making up words not found within the traditional English dictionary. The issue here is that while southern reality television shows may be watched exclusively for their entertainment and popularity attraction, and while they seem…

    Walmart vs Target

I decided to research the competing stores of Walmart and Target. Sam Walton opened his first store in Arkansas in 1962. His visions included helping customers and communities save money and live better. Walmart was considered the nation’s top retailer by the 90’s and enjoyed its first $100 billion sales year by 1997. In the New Millennium, “Walmart made a major commitment to environmental sustainability, announcing goals to create zero waste, use only renewable energy and sell products that sustain people and the environment. (www.walmart.com)” “ In 2010, Walmart launched a global commitment to sustainable agriculture, aiming to strengthen local farmers and economies, while providing customers access to affordable, high-quality food. (www.walmart.com)” Walmart celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2012 and currently employs over 2.2 million associates worldwide and serves 200 million customers each week at more than 10,000 stores in 27 countries. According to the Walmart website, their core beliefs are service to our customers, respect for the individual, and strive for excellence and to act with integrity. After some research, it appears that the organizational culture of Walmart is still subject to an authoritarian culture. Authoritarian means favoring complete obedience or subjection to authority as opposed to individual freedom. The culture is viewed this way after multiple lawsuits against Walmart from their employees regarding wages, work hours, and advancement opportunities. There are many female employees of Walmart that would like to be eligible for promotions to management, however Walmart has made it difficult for women to take those positions. They have created the management structure in a way that most women are simply unable to accept. They do this by making relocation a fixed policy for management positions.…

Everyday many Americans shop at the retail giant Wal-mart. They sell everything from food for the refigerator to toys for children to furniture for your home. Wal-Mart has made American living more affordable. The company provides more jobs and supplies consumers with cheap merchandise. Over the years Wal-Mart has become a big topic of discussion. Author Steve Malanga exonerates the benefits of Wal-Mart. In Steve Malanga’s essay, “The War on Wal-Mart,” Malanga discusses how Wal-Mart has produced many jobs, made shopping equitable for low income families, and how it has become such a successful and self-manageable company. He believes it is best for our economy. Malanga provides a much stronger argument than author Dan Levine. This assumption is supported by various rhetorical strategies. In contrast, Levine consistently commits fallacies. Author Dan Levine of “Wal-Mart’s Big City Blues” argues against Wal-Mart because it does not abide by the living wage ordinance of Hartford, CT. The use of rhetorical strategies and fallacies in both essays will be evaluated to better determine if one author’s argument is more legitimate than the other.…

Ever since the late nineteenth century factories, big businesses, crowded spaces, and technological advancements cause degradation to our mother earth and shove carbon dioxide down tree-hugger’s throats. However, in recent years, according to Humes, Wal-Mart has truly taken steps to help the environment (“Green”). They currently use streamlined trucks for transportation, energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration, not to mention the $3.4 billion they saved by reducing packaging and recycling, most notably their efforts on laundry detergent, reducing bottle size to save plastic and water; perhaps the Waltons do earn their money honestly. Humes notes, “[Wal-Mart] has shown its suppliers... how to lower their carbon emissions and energy bills by 20% to 60%.” Another benefit of Wal-Mart is the fact that it donates its readily-expiring, “but still healthful foods” to nearby food banks. Suddenly, Wal-Mart doesn’t seem that bad.…
