War Of The Worlds Movie Vs Book

To start things off, the book war of the worlds is an action packed narrative book written by the author H.G wells. After the book was released it was such a hit a movie was created and directed by Steven Spielberg and released in 2005. The plot consists of a dad and his kids fighting for their lives as the world is being attacked by aliens who are tearing apart the world and causing complete chaos. Although the film and the movie are similar there are still some major differences and elements between the the two that were done better.
In other words, as far as imagery goes some similarities are the film and the film and the book both explained or showed what was going on very vividly. They both also gave me an excellent image and idea in my head and made me nervous. Some major differences are the movie made me way more terrified than the book did, and the book did a terrible job describing the characters they didn’t match up to the ones in the film. As far as imagery goes I would definitely say that the film did a way better job and the book didn’t give me a correct image.
Next, the mood for the book and the film were quite interesting and different some similarities are they both made me worried about the characters lives and made me feel like I was
actually in the story plot. Some major differences for the literary element mood are the film made the mood more intense and the book didn’t. The winner for this is definitely the film the film made the mood tense and exciting compared to the book.
Finally, comparing the book and the film with the literary element rising action is challenging but a major similarity is they both made the story plot thrilling and I knew what was going on exactly. There are a couple major differences such as the films rising action is so intense exciting.
In conclusion, the film did an excellent job at displaying all these literary elements and making them shine over the books.
The film did an excellent job with imagery I literally felt like I was in the movie acting with the actors! The mood that was set in the film was insane I instantly felt sorry and concerned for the father and his children. Even the rising action was displayed it made me tense they did such an excellent job of accomplishing that. The last difference is the books idea of rising action is extremely wordy they needed to cut back on some words for better comprehension for the readers. The film wins another excellent interpretation of a literary element they just did a much better job at making
it better in the film over the movie I was extremely tense and terrified during it.
