To begin with, Romeo and Juliet were truly in love because they went through all the trouble to try and get married even though their families would disagree. For example, Romeo says to Friar Lawrence, “...what thou must combine By holy marriage.” (Act 2 Scene 3). This shows that Romeo went to a Friar and convinced him to marry them even though that the Friar knew that the families were rivals.Also, Juliet sent a messenger to Romeo to deliver a message to tell him on what he thinks about what they should do about their relationship.As well as, Romeo tries to stop Tybalt from fighting, “...beat down their weapons.” (Act 3 Scene …show more content…
Romeo and Juliet are truly in love because not every day couples try to fake their deaths so that they can be with each other. Romeo and Juliet is a story that tries to connect two people together even though their families will not allow it, just like if you tried to marry someone but no one said you could because of their race or skin
